Drought-Hit Australia Plans to Save Ailing Rivers

　CANBERRA, Australia (Reuters) - Australia announced Friday a national plan to save the country's rivers, hit by the worst drought in 100 years, which will see a reduction in water drawn for irrigation and a system of tradeable water rights.

豪雨湖南省で死者２３人

Rainstorms Kill 23 in Hunan

　Severe storms have hit 30 counties in central China's Hunan Province over the past six days, killing at least 23 people and leaving 24 others missing as of 4:00 pm Thursday, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
