Flood alert as Lothians set for more downpours

　A FLOOD alert has been issued for both the Water of Leith and the River Almond amid predictions that heavy rain will continue to lash Edinburgh and the Lothians until the end of the week.
　The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency has warned that, although the levels of both rivers have fallen overnight, there is a risk of them rising today again with more downpours predicted.

　エジンバラとロジアンでは週末まで激しい雨が続くだろうという予報の中、リース川とアーモンド川に洪水警報が出されている。
　スコットランド環境保護局は、その二つの川の水位は一晩で下がったが、さらに降雨の予報があるので今日再び水位が上がる危険があると警告している。
