雷に打たれ14才の少年死亡、嵐で鉄道や道路に遅れ

Lightning kills boy, 14, as storms bring delays to rail and roads

 A 14-year-old boy was killed and four girls were injured in two lightning strikes yesterday as hailstorms and torrential rain battered the country.
 Joseph Wharton, from Bloxwich in the West Midlands, is thought to have been camping in the garden of a friend's house when he was hit by lightning just before 8am.

 昨日、雹の嵐と激しい雨がその地域を襲い二つの落雷で、14才の少年が死亡少女4人が負傷。
 ウェスト・ミッドランズ州ブロクスウィッチのジョセフ・ワートンは、友人の家の庭でキャンプをしていたちょうど午前8時前、雷に打たれたと見られる。
