穀物生産目標に８００万トン不足の見込み

Grain Output Likely To Fall Short Of Target By 8 MT

　NEW DELHI, AUG 9: The country’s foodgrain output in 2003-04 has been estimated at 212.05 million tonne. It will fall short of the target by 7.95 million tonne.
　The output will be marginally less than the record output of 212.85 million tonne in 2001-02. In 2002-03 foodgrains output dipped to 174.19 million tonne on account of drought.

　ニューデリー、８月９日　インドの 2003-04年穀物食糧生産は、２億1205万トンと見込まれている。それは、目標より 795万トン少ない。
　生産は、2001-02年の２億1285万トンの記録より少し少ないだろう。2002-03年の穀物食糧生産は、干ばつのために１億7419万トンに減少していた。
